The Talent Acquisition Group offers participation specifically to the most senior talent acquisition executive of any retail company. This group meets twice a year to share best practices and exchange ideas. In addition, TAG works collaboratively to promote retailing as an attractive and long-term career path and to cultivate the next generation of retail leaders.
Participation is open to any retail company, defined as a business that sells directly to consumers through a store or website. There is no cost to participate and attend meetings, aside from travel and hotel. The group is managed by the NRF Foundation, and an advisory committee helps determine the strategic direction of the group. The advisory committee is made up of representatives from Burlington Stores, DICK'S Sporting Goods, The Home Depot and Williams-Sonoma.
