Kirstin Erfe is senior director of membership development at the National Retail Federation. In this role, she is responsible for conducting strategic research, engaging NRF member companies on policy objectives and advocacy, and growing NRF’s memberships and partnerships by leveraging industry relationships and identifying key areas of interest.
Erfe joined NRF in 2022 from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she spent over 10 years on the research and analysis side of the association’s fundraising and development department, working closely with the Chamber’s policy and government affairs staff to keep member companies informed of legislative and regulatory issues of importance to the business community. She also supported the development efforts of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
Prior to the U.S. Chamber, Erfe worked at State Street Corporation in Quincy, Mass., and at a Washington, D.C., intellectual property law firm. Erfe has a bachelor’s degree jointly received from University College London and SOAS University of London. She earned her master’s degree in international commerce and policy from George Mason University.
