This Thanksgiving, people are looking for new and creative ways to celebrate the holiday with their loved ones amid rising COVID-19 cases. Many are expecting smaller gatherings, without family members who are unable to travel or be around others.

1-800-Flowers has already seen over 90 percent growth in business this year and is expecting an even larger increase for the holidays. Its consumer base is looking for ways to connect with their families and friends — with a rise in the number of recipients they’re sending gifts to — and 1-800-Flower’s services provide just that.

Steven Lightman, group president of gourmet foods and gift baskets at 1-800-Flowers, joined this week’s episode of Retail Gets Real to talk about ways to keep the holidays special for all.

From sending meals to connecting with family members via video calls, Lightman offered suggestions to help families safely celebrate together, even when apart. Listen to the full podcast for more holiday celebration ideas.
