Infographic: The holiday consumer

VP, Industry and Consumer Insights

As the Thanksgiving holiday weekend approaches, NRF is expecting around 165 million consumers to head out to their favorite stores with family, shop from their phones between turkey and pumpkin pie, and visit their favorite local shops. While consumers seem to be spreading their shopping out over November and December, Thanksgiving weekend is still one of the high points of the holiday season, and consumers plan to make the most of deals and offers.

Get a quick glimpse of this year's holiday consumer in our infographic below, and for more data and insights, visit our holiday headquarters, which we keep updated throughout the season. We'll have an update on Thanksgiving weekend shopping results next week.
