WASHINGTON – The National Retail Federation today announced five new additions to the organization’s Board of Directors. The new members were elected during the trade association’s summer board meeting in Washington, D.C.
“On behalf of the retail industry, we are honored to welcome this dynamic and influential group of individuals to the NRF Board of Directors,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “We are grateful to each for lending their invaluable wisdom, expertise and leadership experience toward the betterment of all retailers throughout the country.”

New members elected to the board include:
- Marguerite Adzick, founder and CEO, Addison Bay
- Harley Finkelstein, president, Shopify
- Ian Kahn, partner, PwC
- Sharon Leite, CEO, Ideal Image
- Carrie Tharp, VP, strategic industries, Google Cloud
The NRF Board of Directors is composed of the retail industry’s leading executives and acts as the governing body for the organization. Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner serves as current chair.
