WASHINGTON – More than 40 of the best and brightest female leaders from retail, technology and business will speak at The Girls’ Lounge at NRF 2019: Retail’s Big Show. More than 37,000 retailers from nearly 100 countries will gather in New York beginning this weekend to network, learn and experience the latest trends, innovations and strategies transforming the retail industry.
“We are excited to partner with The Female Quotient to bring The Girls’ Lounge to NRF 2019 and showcase some of the most talented and powerful women who are impacting and influencing the retail industry every day,” NRF Vice President of Membership Artemis Berry said. “Each one of these outstanding leaders was handpicked to challenge, inspire and encourage attendees to redefine their personal brands, explore opportunities to work together and constantly embrace change.”
A destination at conferences, corporate events and on college campuses around the world, The Girls’ Lounge is hosted by The Female Quotient to help women connect, collaborate and activate change together. The NRF program is made possible by Episerver, Microsoft, and Resulticks. The Girls’ Lounge is open to attendees of NRF 2019, NRF’s 108th annual convention. Attendees will hear panel discussions on topics ranging from personal branding to mentorship to how to succeed in male-dominated industries and will have access to networking areas. Value-added services will include free professional headshots. Separate registration is not required. The lounge is open to NRF members, all retailers, and members of the press with a conference badge.
The lounge will be in the Crystal Palace at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will be open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, January 14, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15.
