WASHINGTON – The National Retail Federation today announced that it has hired Scot Case as vice president for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.
“Scot will lead the expansion of NRF’s CSR and sustainability program, working to support the needs of our members and the broader retail industry,” NRF Senior Vice President of Government Relations David French said. “His extensive experience working on these issues in nonprofit, for-profit and government contractor roles gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of business, environmental and social issues.”
Case joins NRF with more than 25 years of CSR and sustainability experience consulting with a vast array of retailers and their suppliers, supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency voluntary environmental labeling programs like Energy Star, WaterSense and Safer Choice, and advising federal agencies and state and local governments on their sustainability initiatives.
“Scot’s wealth of knowledge in this field will allow NRF to convene and collaborate with all of the appropriate stakeholders and begin scaling successful CSR and sustainability initiatives that meet the distinct needs of our members.”
